Getting around in Norwich

Dear conference participant,

The ESG Norwich 2014 conference is approaching and we are all very much looking forward to this event.

Below, some important information regarding directions to the venue of the ECR workshop, the public debate on Monday, 30 June, as well as the social event prior to the conference, Sunday, 29 June.

 

Sunday, 29 June

For all of you, who already arrive in Norwich on June 29, we would like to invite you to meet and mingle in one of Norwich’s old pubs, the Unthank Arms, 18.00 onwards.

How to get there:

From the train station:

Take bus 25 (direction University) to Unthank Road (opposite Gloucester Street or Lincoln Street).

From UEA campus:

Take bus 25 (direction Train Station) to Unthank Road (opposite Gloucester Street or Lincoln Street).

 

Monday, 30 June

Workshop venue:

The workshop takes places in the Queens Building, room 2.22, on UEA Campus. Workshop registration opens at 08.30. The workshop takes place from 9.00-14-30.

From the train station/ city centre:

Take busses 25 or 25A to the University.

Public Debate (Conference Opening):

The opening of the ESG Norwich 2014 conference will take place in Norwich city centre at St. Andrews Hall, starting at 17.00. We would like to invite you to a reception after the debate from 18.30 -19.30pm.

From the train station:

Take busses 14, 14A, 15, 15A, 23, 23A, 23B, 24, 24A, 25, 25A, X25 to Castle Meadow.

Alternatively, it’s about a 20min walk from the train station to the Halls.

From UEA campus:

Take busses 25, 25A, X25 to Castle Meadow.
